Our process
If you want to get the ball rolling - here's how:
1. Enquire
Fill in this form or email us at support@detailingtoolrepairs.co.uk to start the process.
2. Send
Send your tool to us to inspect using tracked delivery. Please include a note in the box with your full name, booking number & phone number. Send to: Detailing Tool Repairs, Unit 18a, Holme Mills, West Yorkshire, HD7 6LS
3. Inspection
Our experts will visually assess and run diagnostics to check for any faults on your tool.
4. Receive your quote
Once the inspection is done you will be emailed a quote for your service or repair. If you are happy to proceed please confirm by email or phone.
5. Tool repaired/serviced
Your tool will then be repaired or serviced in line with our ISO 9001 standard. It will then undergo a final inspection.
6. Return
Once your tool has been repaired and tested we will arrange for it to be sent back to you with tracked delivery.
FAQs
Here are some frequently asked questions about our services.
We recommend that you check the fuse in the plug top, try a different plug socket and/or check the carbon brushes if your machine refuses to start. In many instances the carbon brushes have worn down and just need replacing.
We aim to have your detailing machine repaired and/or serviced and returned back to you within 10 working days of us receiving it.
We provide a 30-day warranty on all repairs. Items must be in their original condition, and we require a receipt or proof of service. Repairs are guaranteed for quality within 30 days of completion.

- Tools returned under warranty must include relevant paperwork (proof of warranty) prior to inspection.
- All repairs are quoted prior to commencing work.
- Electric tools will not be PAT tested.
- All prices quoted include VAT at 20%.
- Where required, tools returned via courier will incur a shipping charge.
- If you choose not to proceed with your repair, but require your tool(s) returned assembled, a labour charge will be applied.
- We reserve the right to decline service to tampered or fully dismantled tools
